Does ConnectSender send the emails itself?
No. Emails go out from the sending account you connect: Amazon SES, Mailgun, SendGrid, Purelymail or any SMTP server. You pay that service directly for sending.
How does pricing work?
ConnectSender works with credits: each email sent is 1 credit. Write to us for a package that fits your organisation.
Do emails go out from our own domain?
Yes. The panel shows the DNS records to add for your sending domain and checks that they are verified. If you like, links and images in your emails also come from your own domain, such as t.yourcompany.com.
How do we import our contact list?
From an Excel or CSV file. You match the file's columns to fields such as name, email, company and language in the panel.
What happens to people who unsubscribe?
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and people who use it are not emailed again. Invalid addresses and complaints also drop off your list by themselves with services that report them.
Why can the open rate differ from other tools?
Security scanners and privacy proxies open emails automatically. ConnectSender counts those opens separately, so the rate in the report shows emails people really opened.
